Ryan Fischer, MD, FAAD

Dr. Ryan Fischer graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Biotechnology and Biology from the University of Kentucky. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Kentucky, and graduated with High Distinction. He went on to complete his Internship at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee and his residency in dermatology at the University of Kansas Medical Center, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Fischer is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, and has authored numerous articles published in medical journals, including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and JAMA Dermatology. He values involvement in medical education, and enjoys teaching and training medical students. Dr. Fischer joined DAK in 2016, and his professional interests include clinical dermatology and cutaneous surgery.
In his free time, he enjoys sports of all kinds, especially UK basketball. He loves to travel and try new foods. Dr. Fischer is a native of Northern Kentucky and resides in Lexington with his wife.
