Dermatologic Surgery
Dr. W. Patrick Davey has completed a Mohs
and Dermatologic Surgery Fellowship at the University
of Iowa. His doctoral degree is from Washington University
in St. Louis. He completed an Internal Medicine residency at Indiana
University Medical Center and a Dermatology residency at the University
of Iowa. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal
Medicine and the American Board of Dermatology. He is a Fellow
of the American College of Physicians. His special interests are
Mohs Micrographic Surgery
for the treatment of skin neoplasms and dermatologic surgery.
Dr. Davey is a Clinical Professor at the University of Kentucky.
He is past chairman of the Quality of Care Task and the SkinPAC
for the American Academy of Dermatology.
He is currently on the board of directors for the Accreditation
Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) and Health
Care International. He continues to be an active surveyor and
train new surveyors for AAAHC. He has been named one of The Best
Doctors in America by his colleagues. He enjoys gardening, travel
photography, scuba diving, flying, amateur radio and astronomy.
He has two sons, one in high school and the other in college.
